Description: I. 3.7-inch AA guns belonging to 'C' troop in 103rd Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment's 323rd Battery are seen in position outside Colleville-sur-Orne. The seven-man crew of one gun as seen performing various maintenance chores before an enemy aircraft alert galvanises the gunners into action. A Gunner digs a slit-trench. Observers manning an aircraft identification telescope (?) and a range-finder provide the gun detachments with information concerning their target. A signaller operates the Tannoy switchboard system which relays the troop leader's orders to all four gun crews. At one of the 3.7-inch AA gun positions, the gun commander, on receiving firing instructions over his Tannoy loudspeaker, gives his gunners the order to fire.
