Description: Major-General Bullen-Smith, General Officer commanding 51st (Highland) Division, confers with his 153rd Brigade commander, Brigadier 'Nap' Murray, and members of the latter's HQ staff at Escoville to discuss the re-siting of the Brigade's HQ following a fierce German counter-attack during the early morning of June 18 1944. Sherman tanks from the 13/18th Hussars' 'C' Squadron move up to take up defensive positions covering the Brigade from a renewed assault.
