Summary: Russian film of Winston Churchill's visit to Moscow in October 1944.
Description: Stalin and Churchill sit together, with Eden and other dignitaries, and pose for photocall (for the newsreel camera). British and Soviet flags. Churchill (in military uniform) and Eden drive to rain-swept airfield where Stalin and entourage including Maisky, Molotov, Antonov etc are assembled. Military band, troops at attention. Churchill and Stalin take salute. National anthems of Britain and USSR played. Marchpast, more salutes. Cameraman takes photograph. (Reel 2) Churchill gives speech in English (largely drowned out by voice of narrator reading out Russian translation). Churchill and Stalin (followed by soldiers and entourage) stroll around airfield. At aircraft, Churchill prepares to leave; salutes, handshakes etc. As aircraft takes off, Stalin and company wave farewell (Churchill, seen through aircraft window, reciprocates). Plane flies off into distance.
