Summary:
Description: A procession of Norman refugees, with heavily-laden handcarts, prams, bicycles and farm animals in tow, makes its way homeward along the Donnay-Bois Halbout road from the fighting in 12th Corps' sector of the front. Heading in the opposite direction is a convoy of trucks and lorries belonging to 176th Brigade's RASC company, taking supplies up to 59th (Staffordshire) Division's front. Men of the 7th Battalion Royal Northumberland Fusiliers help a refugee family load its possessions onto a Fordson 15-cwt truck which takes them from Bois Halbout to their home in the nearby village of St Laurent de Condel.
