Description: Several of the 3rd RTR's tanks are driven through the village of Exmes on the road to Gacé and pass numerous jeeps belonging to the 2nd French Armoured Division heading in the opposite direction. From roadside cottages, French villagers watch a procession of their fellow countrymen-in-arms ride past in American-built Stuart V light tanks as the 2nd French Armoured Division prepares for the march on Paris. The cameraman films the French tanks as the AFPU jeep overtakes them on the road outside Exmes. Two half-tracks and a jeep join the procession of French armour leaving the village. In Gacé, a 3rd RTR (?) Firefly tank noses its way round a narrow street corner and cuts in front of a line of 11th Armoured Division trucks. Detachments from the 4th KSLI's carrier and anti-tank platoons and a lone 11th Armoured Division RAMC jeep are greeted by townspeople as they enter Gacé. In among the procession is a German-converted SOMUA APC half- track now in the hands of the 4th KSLI.
