Description: Parisians hitch a ride on one of the British AFPU's team's jeeps with Sergeant Collins and Lieutenant Handford. General de Gaulle accompanied by his naval officer son, visits General Leclerc's temporary headquarters at Montparnasse station shortly after the surrender of the German garrison commander of Paris. Confronted by an angry crowd, three Wehrmacht colonels leave the station separately in French army jeeps to convey news of General von Choltitz's surrender to German strongpoints still holding out in the city.
