Accompanied by a CMP 3-ton lorry from the 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars carrying supplies for "Ghent Force", three Humber scout cars and a jeep from 7th Armoured Division's HQ troops head through Carvin. M5 half-tracks, Cromwell tanks and a Fordson 15cwt truck are seen among vehicles belonging to "Ghent Force" motoring along a dusty, pave-surfaced road outside Lille as evening falls.
