Summary: Partially Dramatised Army Instructional film on counter-terrorism operations. An officer of the 1st Battalion the Royal Green Jackets acts a narrator for the story, which takes place in an unidentified north-west European country. The Green Jackets counter a terrorist group through co-operation with the police, good intelligence work and regular patrolling of towns and the surrounding countryside. The importance of fieldcraft is demonstrated through a successful ambush set by the British, who are also able to respond effectively when a convoy is ambushed in turn. The pursuit of the ambushers, including the use of dogs and helicopters, leads to a farmhouse, which is very thoroughly searched. Information gained leads to the location of the terrorist hideout, which is then assaulted, effectively bringing the insurgency to an end.
