Summary: Dramatised Army Instructional film in which an officer about to take up a staff intelligence post spends time with a signals intercept unit on exercise in England. Over the course of the exercise the intercept unit's commander demonstrates how it is possible, by exploiting mistakes made by radio operators, to build up an accurate picture of an enemy's intentions and order of battle. The basic point is again emphasised that procedure must be followed at all times to prevent the enemy from gaining valuable intelligence.
