Summary: Dramatised Navy Instructional film in which a Leander Class frigate goes to the assistance of a disabled Royal Fleet Auxiliary, the fictitious RFA Red Ranger While at anchor off the coast of an unidentified tropical country, repairs begin to the RFA; meanwhile, a team of enemy divers on shore prepare to attack. Using floating rubbish as cover, the divers approach, attach explosives to the RFA's hull and start to make their escape. A sentry spots a diver and opens fire, and Royal Navy divers begin to check the RFA's hull. The bomb then explodes, causing severe damage. The film subtly reinforces the message that precautions such as scare charges, underwater lighting and sentries can only work if used properly, and that vigilance is essential.
