Summary:
Description: An AA gun scans the horizon, is loaded and fired. At GHQ, an operator studies the plotting chart, and talks into a microphone. Another operator gets the message, tells another officer, who relays it by phone (close-ups of officer). An AA gun traverses, finishing up with the muzzle facing the camera, a hand pushes the lever interlocking the gun with a predictor; a Royal Artillery sergeant pulls a man's foot off the firing pedal, and stands beside the breach of the gun. Film of the gun emplacement (near the sea) and crew of six is followed by close-ups of two men operating the predictor box, and of the plotting board. The plot is relayed to HQ (via Royal Artillery radio set) and the sergeant listens to the plot on a Tannoy (just by his ear), he then looks through his binoculars, shouts orders, and talks into the Tannoy. Final shot of sergeant looking at the camera.
