Summary: Film on the work of the Royal Dockyards in maintaining the ships of the Royal Navy at full fighting efficiency. Dockyard workers carry out internal and external repairs and maintenance on various ships, both onboard and on electronic and mechanical components in shore workshop facilities. Work is also carried out on an Australian submarine and the Canadian submarine HMCS Okanagan (74).
