Description: A truck (RE road repairs) passes down a street, with bombed buildings on either side. It arrives at a busy road junction where there is a traffic jam involving American Trucks, despatch riders, large freight trucks etc. A policeman attempts to regulate the traffic flow; on a nearby pole there is a notice reading "Gripper's Cross", "Roundabout", "Keep right/Moving". Various 'lanes' move forward in turn. Another road sign reads "Roundabout: Banville, Grépan, Creully", with a notice supplying the information "You are at map reference 905 811".

Notes: Production: material was shot by Gaumont British cameramen, but processed by RAF laboratories.
