Summary: An air race at Hendon, Middlesex, probably 1913.
Description: The film is very dark throughout, making identification difficult. The competing aircraft are chiefly Farman Longhorns, Farman Shorthorns and Morane-Saulnier monoplanes. They take off, crossing a start line on the ground, and fly round the turning point. A Blériot type monoplane, Number 1 in the race, has come down on Epsom Downs and is towed away, surrounded by onlookers. Mr L Noel in Number 13, a Morane-Saulnier, lands as the winner, but is later seen being told he has been disqualified.
