Summary:Footage taken after the completion of Operation Mainbrace. Supermarine Attacker jets line up on deck of aircraft carrier HMS Eagle (general views of hills around Oslo harbour visible in the background). Royal Marine honour guard and ratings stand to attention along the deck of the ship. Signal light blinks on USS Wisconsin alongside. Buglers play and Marine honour guard and band march on deck; salute is fired as Eagle approaches Oslo harbour. In the harbour, US sailors walk on the quayside. Ships from the operation are moored, including USS Theodore Roosevelt, USS Mount Olympus, British submarines including HMS Ambush, Norwegian ships, destroyer HMS Bramble, Van Zijill, USS Columbus and naval launches.
