Summary:Admiral Sir Charles Lambe, retiring Commander-in-Chief Allied Forces Mediterranean (AFMED), who is to replace Lord Mountbatten as First Sea Lord of the Royal Navy, attends a ceremony in his honour outside SHAPE headquarters. General Norstad gives a speech, listing Lambe's accomplishments in his service and private life. Admiral Lambe then gives a speech in which he thanks those with whom he has worked and notes the levels of co-operation he has witnessed between NATO member nations. Cine cameramen film him. Later, Admiral Lambe and General Norstad step down and pose for photographs. Brigadier Cardiff of NATO Public Information hands certificate to General Norstad and Admiral Lambe.
