Summary: Men of the US Navy Air Corps demonstrate the concealment of a Submarine Scout Airship, B or C Class, in a wood, probably in the USA shortly after the First World War.
Description: The airship has distinctive US markings. It is pulled by the sailors out from the wood, where the tall trees have completely concealed it, and into a clearing. The crew of two in the open gondola make ready while the ground crew prepares the machine. The airship takes off. An ensign and sailor fit a message to the leg of a carrier pigeon and release it. Three of the sailors relax by a campfire and cooking pot (for the camera's benefit) and roll their own cigarettes. The airship returns to the clearing, the men collect its ropes and guide it back under cover.
