Summary:Scenes of a demonstration (at Dreux USAF Base near Paris) where the British Army and RAF flew in, assembled and set up a (hundred bed capacity) field hospital. The hospital was in fully operational condition and was completed within two hours of the aircraft's arrival. The RAF transport aircraft comes in to land; cargo doors are opened and troops and officers exit. Parts of the tent are unloaded; medics and nurses treat wounded beside it (casts are applied) as Allied officers and VIPs from the SHAPE medical conference watch from stand. Tent parts are erected and secured. Royal Army Medical Corps sign. Hospital equipment is piled up next to aircraft; soldiers and nurses unpack supplies. Patients are lined up on stretchers; one is carried into tent and put on the bed, where he is treated and bandaged. Other patients (US airmen) eat lunch outside the tent. The Field Medical Company is demonstrated by the 37 Field Ambulance RAMC.
