Summary: A compilation film of the training of horses and of aircraft pilots by the British and Australians in Palestine, 1918.
Description: The film is compiled, rather than edited, by joining together four original films. (Reel 1) First IWM 31 INLAND WATER TRANSPORT, EGYPT and IWM 2 44TH REMOUNT SQUADRON ON THE EGYPTIAN COAST. (Reel 2) Followed by material taken from IWM 38 ADVANCE IN PALESTINE and IWM 28 WITH THE AUSTRALIAN FORCES IN PALESTINE. It shows first the carriage of fodder on the Nile and the training of remount horses, then the training of aircrew up to a sortie and return flight out over Palestine.
