Summary:Arrival of Ministers of Defence and Foreign Affairs to NATO headquarters, for the Ministerial session of the North Atlantic Council. Scenes inside the Council room.
Description:Reel 1 and 2 are very similar, they both show the arrival of Foreign Affairs Ministers and their staff to NATO headquarters. Representatives show their identity cards to security guards upon arrival. The first reel is shot by Italian television RAI, as written on the can label. Reel 2 shows scenes inside the Council room as well.
Amongst attendees: Rui Patricio from Portugal, William Rogers and Melvin Laird from United States, Einar Ágústsson from Iceland, Maurice Shumann from France, Mitchell Sharp from Canada, Greek Ambassador Anino Cavaliertao, Aldo Moro from Italy and the Chairman of the Military Committee Johannes Steinhoff. They are all filmed in their seats or greeting other peers. Amongst the other delegations, the Greek delegation remain still and quiet, without interacting with anyone else.
