Summary: French film on the wrecks of Zeppelins forced down over French territory while returning from a raid on England, 19th-20th October 1917.
Description: The Germans lost eleven Zeppelins in the course of the raid, five of them over France. First, the wreck of one of the airships is inspected by French soldiers, while two of the aircraft which shot it down fly (indistinctly) overhead. The burnt-out wreck consists mainly of the airship frame and engines. Zeppelin L49, which was forced down intact near Bourbonne les Bains, rests on the ground, having broken its back in landing. It is inspected by French and US soldiers.
