Summary: Army Instructional film showing an example of how to clear a small village of enemy soldiers. A company of the Royal Welch Fusiliers, supported by artillery and Centurion tanks, make the assault, using small arms, mortars, grenades and a flamethrower, systematically clearing each building in such a way that each captured house acts as a position from which to give covering fire to the next attack. The importance of each element of the assault forces acting in support of each other is stressed and the point made that village clearance is not a specialist role but a job that any infantry unit should be capable of.
