- Description: The story features a supposed love triangle. A woman is confronted by her husband over a letter which she has received; he believes it is a love letter. He tries to shoot her, but she manages to club him into unconsciousness. She then sends the message to her alleged suitor, using his dog as a go between. The suitor, in his house with another man (his father ?) receives the message and opens it: it reads "At once - At Once! From the nearest Post Office, buy National War Bonds now!" The couple, and the dog, are united.
