Summary: I. "Warrior of the week." A major of the Royal Tank Regiment praises the equipment produced by the British workers and used by the Army to defeat the enemy in North Africa. With considerable satisfaction he describes how he used his tank to squash some Jerries in a ditch.
II. "The other man's job. Making the guns." Various components for the 25-pounder gun arrive from different factories before being assembled to form the weapon "which enabled the break-through at El Alamein." Guns are tested before leaving the factory by truck.
III. "Stalingrad. The end." British workers' contribution (tanks, planes etc.) to the Red Army's victory at Stalingrad is mentioned over film of final mopping up and surrender scenes. Bitter commentary sees "only cruelty, cunning and fear" in the faces of "the black-hearted fascists we fight." Bedraggled and ill-shaven prisoners shamble along while their generals including von Daniels, Sanne and the Rumanian Dimitriu arrive to give themselves up. Field Marshal Paulus twitches nervously as he is questioned at Red Army HQ by General Tolbukhin. "Stalingrad made victory for the United Nations certain."
