Summary: Army Instructional film in which the 1st Battalion of the Durham Light Infantry prepares for and carries out an airlift to the fictitious country of Nemesia to carry out internal security duties. On receiving the order to move the Battalion prepares its men and equipment, liaises with the RAF and moves by road and rail to RAF Abingdon in Oxfordshire. Vehicles and stores are loaded into Blackburn Beverley transport aircraft, while the majority of the men travel in Handley Page Hastings aircraft. An advance party, having already arrived in Nemesia by De Havilland Comet, prepares for the arrival of the main body of the unit.
