Summary: Handley Page 0/400 bombers, probably 41 Wing RAF at Coudekerque, Western Front, May 1918.
Description: One of the bombers taxies, checked by mechanics as it does so. Another is brought out of its hangar with its wings folded and prepared for flight, the wings being straightened and ladders put up to the engines. The flight mechanics lift its tail off a trestle. The machine is fitted with three different types of bomb, which are then fused, and fuel is pumped into the tanks. A Nieuport 27, with a French officer as its pilot, has been parked directly in front of the Handley Page for comparison of size.
