Description: On the banks of the River Orne near Ranville, airborne troops help erect an improvised stage and billboards for a nine-man concert party called "Stars in Battledress" consisting of entertainers serving in various branches of the British army. The performers are seen getting ready backstage and doing various musical, trick-illusionist, juggling and comedy routines. The audience - about 200 strong - seen applauding and laughing at the various acts is composed of men serving with units in the 6th Airborne Division.
