Plane used in the recognition sequence which follows is a captured Ju 88 with RAF markings and camouflage. Plane is shown in flight and superimposed diagrams on frozen frames highlight its salient features. A cartoon sketch depicts the crew "sitting in a friendly huddle in the bulbous glazed cabin".
