Film Number:A70 87-8
Description: Cromwells and Fireflies belonging to the 1st RTR deploy in the cornfields around the village of Giberville during the regiment's advance to catch up with the rest of the 22nd Armoured Brigade now fighting for the Bourguebus ridge some four miles away. The tanks pass the long barrel of an 8.8cm PAK 41/43 anti- tank gun (lying well concealed by tall stalks of wheat) which was overrun during the previous day's advance.
