Description: Reel one: Opening scene in RAF Adjutant's Office and WAAF section officer taking telephone message. RAF officer enters and discusses King's Regulations and Air Council Instructions with the WAAF. She states she probably knows the regulations inside out and a challenge is set for her to accompany him on a flight to collect a crew from a unservicable aircraft which had to land away from station. Film follows the pair as they plan and prepare for the flight including the use of parachutes and flying clothing.
Reel two: Continuation of knowledge quiz relating to preparation of the aircraft prior to sortie and starting procedure. On to Flight Office and flying clothing and explanation of Form 1575 and further quizzing about regulations.
Reel three: Preparing to taxi, questions asked about the rules for taxiing (aircraft featured is Airspeed Oxford HN766). Cockpit drills explained and airborne regulations discussed. Rules about aerobatics.
Reel four: After landing at aerodrome check in with Flying Control Officer. Explanation of ground signals square in front of ATC and various signals displayed. Forced landings discussed. Depart and “colours of the day” raised as a question
