Summary: General airfield activity probably filmed sometime around the time of the Dieppe Raid.
Description: Film shows general ground scenes of aircraft landing, taking off and being serviced. Airfield presumed to be Redhill, Kent, due to the presence of 350 Squadron Supermarine Spitfire Vb's and one glimspe of an aircraft in 611 Squadron markings. Of particular interest are the ground crews rearming and refuelling aircraft, and close-ups of bad flak damage sustained in combat. Some aircrew are seen, the impression is that they have just returned from a "rhubarb" (a low-level strike operation mounted in cloudy condition against enemy targets in Occupied Countries). There is also footage of a good low "beat-up" of the airfield and the usual football match.
