Description: Film opens with frontal view of the College and RAF ensign at the yardarm, cadets on parade ground standing to attention. The King arrives by car, is greeted by the commandant and other senior officers. An aircraft is seen in background (view of tail only). More official cars arrive with motor cycle outriders. The camera pans down from the college clock tower, past the greek columns to the reception party gathered on the main steps below and the cadets gathered on the parade ground. Lord Trenchard appears with officers accompanying the King and Harold Macmillan, then Secretary of State for Air, and proceeds to inspect the cadets.
