Description: Composition and equipment of the decontamination squad. Marking and approach to affected areas. Use of bleach powder to neutralise the chemical agent. Wearing of canvas over-mittens for heavy work. Decontamination of clothing and tools after use. Mixing of bleach/water paste for use in windy conditions, for vertical surfaces, or onboard ship. Method of applying paste. Paintwork treated with a paste made of bleach powder and CQ paint softener with a slight Vaseline additive to promote adhesion. Cleaning of glass and metalwork with absorbent cloth. Boiling of contaminated clothing. Method of scrubbing decks with a bleach paste to which sand has been added as an abrasive. The film ends by recapitulating the points made earlier and warning that "...throughout it all dc (decontamination) means, darn careful".
