Description: LS pan from cameraship to two troopships underway in the fjord with destroyer escort. MS broad on the starboard bow of HMS Hearty (H.57) - snow-clad mountains in the background. Various LSs to troopships and escort and to HMS Resolution lying anchored in Herjangsfjord - cameraship is a Tribal Class destroyer, possibly HMS Matabele. The cameraship comes alongside on the starboard quarter of Resolution, while a second destroyer (HMS Echo ?) goes alongside on port side of the battleship - survivors cross a gangplank from the second destroyer onto Resolution's quarterdeck - camera pans up to aircraft on battleship's X turret. Sequence shot from cameraship steaming at speed in the fjord - she leaves an impressive wake in the calm waters. MS of a Sunderland flying boat, engines running - in the background is a boldly camouflaged H Class destroyer. Cut to HA onto the focsle of a merchantman - men wave to passing Polish destroyer Grom. CU pan over the faces of survivors embarked on the merchantman. Cut to MS of forebody of HMS Aurora, and pan to LS off the port quarter of HMS Enterprise. Further shots from Tribal Class destroyer underway in the fjord, and passing shot of Grom wearing her British pendant H.71 - she has a false bow wave painted on her hull. Cut to sequence showing cameraship with Echo closing on Resolution. LS of the two troop transports with escorting destroyer HMS Highlander (H.44). Cut to H Class destroyer and MS from aft to the searchlight position where two Lewis gunners are on watch - a 4x.50 calibre anti-aircraft machine gun is also closed up ready for action. Final LS to troop transports and destroyer escort heading out of the fjord.
