Summary: General scenes of operational activity.
Description: NO*Y of 320 Squadron taxies as a Dutch flag (bearing the Squadron crest) flies in the foreground. A Dutch officer emerges from a Mitchell and hands his flying kit which includes a steel helmet to a Petty Officer. The camera pans from a Mitchell to the flag. The Squadron Commander, Commander Hans V B Burgerhout, gets out of the aircraft and shakes hands with assembled officers and men, including the chief engineering officer Flight Lieutenant Geudeker. RAF crews lounge in chairs outside Nissen huts. A Mitchell's flight crew is seen in close up in their cockpit, the pilot gestures to the camera. Aircraft "U" is waved away by squadron personnel (including a British chaplain) as it takes off. "Grumpy" of 98 Squadron takes off. The aircraft are then seen in flight over to the target where the bombs are dropped. Stock shots are taken of Navigator reading in the nose of a Mitchell. Two aircraft taxi. "GRUMPY" of 98 Squadron is bombed up in a good sequence.
