Summary: Four unedited sequences for the film "Aircraft Refuelling", followed by sequences for the film "Duties of Sentries".
Description: I. De Havilland Vampire, Hawker Sea Fury and Gloster Meteor aircraft are parked on a tarmac. Two ground crew plus an officer approach. In the (Sea Fury?) cockpit, a safety switch is turned off. A rating signs the delivery "chit" for the driver of an oil tanker which allows it to proceed onto the airfield. The aeroplanes are refuelled by WRNS plus one rating. The taps at the rear of the tanker are shut off. The fuel is signed for by pilot and rating. A Wren sits on the wing of the Meteor.
II. Two Supermarine Attacker aircraft take off (several takes). Chocks are pulled away from single Attacker aircraft.
III. Pilot in cockpit of De Havilland Vampire dons flying helmet etc and chats with a rating who climbs upon the wing. A refuelling crew goes to the plane.
IV. The pilot reaches and raises the cockpit cover as the interior of the cockpit is filled with smoke. Oil spreads upon the tarmac and is set alight.
V. Dido Class cruiser at anchor (long shot). A diver appears from under a buoy.
