Summary: Unedited sequences involving a Daring Class destroyer.
Description: I. DCT outfit. LA MCUs of main director (Mk VIM) as it elevates and trains right. CUs of CR.BFD.
II. Bofors. LA of single Bofors and CU of muzzle framed against sky background as it trains round. MSs as twin 40mm, abaft second funnel, fines over the starboard beam - in background, 40mm on bridge wing also trains onto the beam and fires off. further shots show Bofors firing to port, CR.BFD framed below 40mm barrels and gun training to starboard.
III. Main armament. LA.MS from starboard side of focsle to 'A' and 'B' turrets as they train to port with guns elevated. HA.MS onto forward 4.5-inch as they fire by single barrels over the starboard beam and LA.MS aft along starboard side of focsle to same - turrets train onto the quarter during the shot.
IV. Various shots of Daring Class destroyer, two Type 15 anti-submarine frigates and (?) Battle Class destroyer in line astern of cameraship. CU study of cameraship's wake.
