Rear 3/4 MS of port bow of neighbouring LCT 783 as 2 Shermans and a jeep disembark (Bren gun carrier runs along beach in background). MLS of Valentine DD tanks of 4/7th Dragoon Guards, 8th Armoured Brigade, parked on the beach. Camera pans right from starboard bow of LCT 858 to follow Sherman moving along beach to vehicle exit - a Firefly and Shermans follow, with Valentine DD in background. LS pan from seaward along line of beached LCT(4)s - balloon barrage overhead. 3/4 MSs framing bows of neighbouring LCTs (858 and 783) as vehicles disembark. MS over empty hold of LCT 783 to LCT 640, still unloading. MLS to shore, where speeding Shermans overtake half tracks and jeeps - vehicles moving left to right, beached LCTs coming into frame at end of shot. LS along line of LCTs as camera vessel unbeaches - LCT 857 is similarly engaged.
