Summary: A marine party from HMS Gloucester board a tug towing an empty barge.
Description: On the bridge of HMS Gloucester, Commander Wilcocks orders the boarding party to proceed. Cut to MS of marine detachment on the flightdeck. Lynx lands on. Inside the hangar the RM sergeant briefs his men, drawing on the deck with chalk - sound quality is poor. CU of Lynx pilot. The marines board the helicopter, the sergeant slinging his L85A1 round his neck and taking up position in the open doorway with the coil of rope on his lap. Helicopter takes off and approaches the tug Stevin Sham. The marine detachment ropes down onto the tug's quarterdeck. Commander Wilcocks watches the operation from bridge wing. MSs of the tug - the Lynx returns to drop a further boarder - he is lowered by winch, presumably the RN officer delegated to interrogate the tug's captain. Cut to aerial sequence as Lynx circles the tug, Gloucester in close company - camera zooms in to marine standing on the tug's bridge. Aircraft gains height to give general views of the situation, then passes low over the barge under tow - it appears to be empty. Views of Gloucester, shot through the open cabin door - the ships begin to separate. Lynx lands on. MS from flightdeck as the helicopter takes off again - presumably to recover the boarding party.
