MS from angled deck to the bows, where a Whirlwind is parked up for maintenance work, and pan right to two Scimitars and a Sea Vixen parked on the centreline, surrounded by sunbathers. Notes: Summary: this film conveys very well the fierce heat of the Persian Gulf. Even with air-conditioning, temperatures as high as 130 degrees Fahrenheit were experienced in the boiler rooms of some ships, and it was important to get crews regularly out into the fresh air
