Deck crew pack marines' personal kit onto a trolley - nearby stands a second trolley laden with a net of jerry cans ready to be airlifted ashore. Senior marine officers, going ashore in a helicopter, are seen off by Captain Franks. LS along the deck to Whirlwind K as it picks up one of the marines' Citroën light utility vehicles - one of the strops parts or comes away and the vehicle hits the deck, its hood flying open. A pilot of 848 Squadron stands nearby watching. Marines board helicopter R. Whirlwind K makes a second, and this time successful attempt, to lift a Citroën.
