Summary: Unedited footage on board the aircraft carrier HMS Invincible during Exercise Teamwork off the coast of Norway.
Description: (Tape 1) 14 March. Sea King helicopter is strapped to deck during heavy seas and atrocious weather (ice and snow). One of the cameraman (Petty Officer Harding) describes to camera the conditions - he is strapped to the deck with a belt to prevent him from slipping (or being blown over). Norwegian (?) naval vessel passes. Further deck scenes (calmer weather) show Sea Harrier aircraft being towed into position on deck by tractors; Sea King helicopters are also seen.
(Tape 2) 12 March. Shots of helicopters (Sea King and Gazelle) on deck, including some unusual and striking angles. Helicopters both in flight and being prepared; also brief shots of the sea (snow-covered shoreline visible). Cameraman Paul Cowpe delivers an introductory piece to camera - his words are drowned out by helicopter noise. Shots of helicopters on snow-covered deck.
