Notes: Summary: by 1965 LS 326 was in need of a new engine if it was to keep flying. Eventually the FAA exchanged the engine for the one in the Imperial War Museum's aircraft NF 370, which was in good condition but not airworthy. After renovation the new engine was ready for service in 1970. At this time LS 326 was still painted in the colours and markings it wore for the 1959 film production 'Sink the Bismarck'. See ADM 1685
