- Description: HA from Fort Grange to forecastle of HMS Gloucester (D.96) during a replenishment - an empty Sea Dart container is being passed back to the supply ship, the jackstay running from the destroyer's specialised hydraulic transfer arm. Commander Wilcocks and some of his officers watch the operation from the destroyer's port bridge wing. Winchman on Fort Grange takes in light line. HMS Gloucester makes off, rapidly working up speed and turning to starboard, heeling dramatically out of the turn - the roar of her gas turbines adds to the overall impression of power. LSs as a RAF Nimrod flies over the departing destroyer.
