Summary: President Tito visits the C-in-C Mediterranean onboard the cruiser HMS Glasgow during a visit to the port of Brioni, Yugoslavia.
Description: Vice-Admiral Manola, Deputy Commander of the Yugoslav Navy, is piped onboard HMS Glasgow where he is greeted by Mountbatten and Captain Holmes. The two Admirals pose together - HMS Surprise, the C-in-C's yacht, is visible anchored in the background. HA to Glasgow's launch as it is boarded by Mountbatten, his Chief of Staff Vice-Admiral Power, Vice-Admiral Manola, and HM Ambassador Sir Ivo Mallet. The quarterdeck of Glasgow, covered by a canvas awning, is decorated with flags - civilians (members of the press ?) look on from X gun deck, and wave cheerily to the camera.
