Summary:
Description: Opening shots onboard LCT(4) 597 as crewmen lash the motorcycles into position in Goatley boat - 11-RB (Ruston-Bucyrus) mobile crane in the background. Safety ties removed from Goatley's roller ramp, and the craft is launched. MS from the beach as the boat is launched - crew haul on warping line, and the craft makes toward camera. CU as the boat is beached, and two bow ramps are lowered - LCT(5) in the background. Six solo Aerial W/NG motorcycles are pushed ashore. Bow ramps are stowed, and Goatley boat de-beaches to return to the LCT and embark a second load of motorcycles, which are then transferred to shore. The procedure is repeated a third time. On the second and third trips, the cameraman is embarked on the boat. Final MS from the beach as the boat's crew haul on warping line to return to the LCT.
