Description: I. At sea in the Mediterranean, a squadron of Fairey Firefly aircraft are shown landing (the ground crew shown in action in various duties), and then taking off.
II. A Supermarine Sea Otter approaches and lands on flight deck of HMS Ocean. It then takes off again, landing a little way astern. It then revs its engine and taxies along the surface in the wake of the aircraft carrier, until it is directly behind. The plane then comes alongside, whereupon it is lifted on deck by a crane.
III. General footage of activity on flight-deck of HMS Ocean, of a group of Hawker Sea Fury and Fairey Firefly aircraft taxiing and taking off. Ends on close-up of Bofors gun.
