Description: I. Operators in anti-flash closed up in ship's transmitting station. MS aft to Mk VI DCT on HMS Vigo (note ship's badge) with Gunnery Air Radar Nacelles GA.275. LA.MS to Mk VIM Director on Lynx with GA.275 nacelles - DCT trains left into frame.
II. LA.MS of US twin 3-inch/.50 calibre gun turret with Mk 34 gunnery radar. CU of radar and gun barrels.
III. MCU as twin 40mm STAAG mounting trains round into camera to show Gunnery Close Radar GC.262. MS and CUs of GC.262 mounted on CR.BFD (Close Range Blindfire Director) - GC scans and elevates as director trains round.
IV. Portsmouth. HMS Lynx (F.27) enters harbour - jump cuts in the sequence. HMS Victorious (R.38) enters Portsmouth - LS and MS off the port bow while she is in the fairway, and CU as she enters the harbour opposite HMS Dolphin, passing right to left through the frame.
V. Sequence showing HMS Diamond (D.35) steaming in a moderate sea. Helicopter shot, the aircraft closing on the port quarter to give a HA.MCU of the forebody, then holding as the destroyer passes diagonally right to left through the frame. Camera inboard on Diamond, shooting for'd over waist to frame starboard bow wave - cut to stern and stern wash. Helicopter shot broad on the starboard quarter, framing X turret and CR.BFD Mk V. Turret trains onto director bearing. Cut to frame CR.BFD.
