II. Royal Navy and Royal Marines, on patrol on the Mekong, board a Vietnamese cargo boat accompanied by an armed guard. They go below deck - OUYET 2 TANG is written above door. The crew are interviewed and the cargo load and passengers (most of whom are sleeping) are inspected. Passports are checked.
III. Views of Cambodian fishing village during and after rain storm: fields and roads seen. Captain Martin McCormack-Hamilton of the Royal Marines is interviewed in the Cambodian-style house on stilts where Royal Navy and Royal Marines officers are billeted. He discusses his job stopping weapons and foreign military personnel from entering or leaving Cambodia; he also describes his experiences and his hopes for the UNTAC mission.
