- Description: I. Arnhem. Incomplete item on Arnhem shows soldier beside transmitter, wrecked German vehicle with dead officer inside, a very tall German prisoner and grinning British survivors after evacuation across the Rhine. II. "Latest pictures of Allied push in Normandy". Visitors to Normandy include Stimson and Eisenhower, while Churchill inspects a V1 rocket launching pad. RAF Lancasters drop flares and bombs. Allied advance continues past Sherman flail which slides off road and long line of German prisoners. Pilot of Messerschmitt Bf 109 bails out spectacularly from his plane. Rocket-firing Typhoons shoot up German plane on ground and munitions train; a V1 explodes in the air. III. "RAF jail delivery". Model of Amiens prison shows target which Mosquitos attack after crossing Channel. Prison after Allied capture shows blasted wall through which patriots escaped. IV. "RAF strafes Nazi convoy". Beaufighters with Invasion stripes attack a German convoy off Holland with machine gun and cannon fire. Other Beaufighters fire rockets. V. "Bombing Germany". Lancasters release two blockbuster bombs over North Sea coast by day and bomb Brunswick by night. VI. "Sinking of the Tirpitz by RAF Blockbusters". Sea-level views of the German battleship off the coast and in a fjord precede coverage of Lancasters bombing the vessel at anchor off Norway. VII. "RAF blasts German ships in Norway". RAF Mosquitos attack shipping in snow-covered fjord. VIII. "Saturation bombing of Calais". Ground level views of bombing and of Lancaster crashing. Two crew members bale out of another Lancaster.
